Sheriff Dept press release re: Sonora High School Students arrested for an alleged sexual assault

Sonora High School Students Arrested
On 8-21-14 at 1130 hours, The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department arrested two Sonora High School students for their involvement in an alleged sexual assault that occurred on the 600 block of Skyline Drive in Tamarack. The students were attending a juvenile party in Calaveras County on June 21, 2014. The juveniles were consuming alcohol at the party when the assault took place. The suspects were 16 and 17 years old at the time of the incident. They were placed under arrest, transported, and booked into the Calaveras County Probation Department.
