“Clothing, Shoes and Household Textiles Recycling”

Calaveras County Department of Public Works, Integrated Waste Management is pleased to announce that we have partnered with U’SAgain to recycle household clothing, shoes and textiles.  U’SAgain is a for-profit enterprise promoting recycling and the responsible reuse of clothes, shoes and household textiles.  U’SAgain is dedicated to helping the environment by extending the life of clothes and keeping them out of landfills.
Clothing, shoes and textiles should no longer be placed in the trash.

Textiles that can be placed in the recycling bins include all clothing, shoes and other household textiles as listed below.  The textiles can be of any condition whether soiled, stained or torn.  All materials must be clean and dry; and dropped off in tied plastic bags.
