Copperopolis hosts Veterans Day Parade
American flags and emotional shouts of “thank you” could be found along Main Street in Copperopolis Sunday as much of the community turned out for the first Veterans Day Parade, sponsored by Veterans of Foreign War Post 12118.

Robert M. of Valley Springs sat on a low brick wall just outside the Copperopolis Post Office along with many other onlookers, only he seemed to be part of the parade dressed in a World War I Doughboy uniform.
