Dear Copperopolis,
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about an
exciting event that will be happening in Copperpolis on November 11, 2012.
Copperopolis will be holding the first annual Copperopolis
Veterans Day Parade, November 11, 2012 at 1 pm.
Currently we have Veterans groups from Sacramento, Stockton,
Copperopolis, and Sonora attending the event, with invitations sent throughout
the tri-county area and beyond.
Directly following the parade will be a Public Safety Day at
the Copperopolis Fire Department with CalFire, Copper Fire, Calaveras Sheriff
Dept, Marine Patrol, Search & Rescue, SWAT, and Highway Patrol vehicles on
display and safety booths for kids. There will also be a hotdog feast –
donations gladly accepted – benefitting the Copperopolis VFW Post 12118.
