The Sonora Police Department has launched a Facebook page. The Police Department is hoping to use the Facebook page to supply more information to the public. All press releases will be posted on the Facebook account, just like they are on the Department’s web site.
Besides press releases, additional information will be posted on the Facebook account, such as articles appearing in the City Scene, the Department’s annual report, helpful hints through the year, detailed information regarding parade routes, detours and street closures, and many more interesting items.
The Department is hoping the Facebook page will help provide the public with further information about what is going on inside the City, while giving them another resource for information other than the Department’s web page.
