Jordan Lynn Kovacs August 16, 1997 – September 18, 2011


Jordan Kovacs, age 14, passed away unexpectedly in Clements, along with her best friend her Papa, Richard Leroy Kovacs, both from Copperopolis. Jordan’s passion was competing with her horses Victor and Dixie. She loved all animals and wanted to be a Veterinary technician. Jordan leaves behind her loving parents Todd and Adena Kovacs of Copperopolis and her brother Brody Kovacs; Grandmother Terri Kakarigi and Papa Nick Kakarigi of Manteca; Grandparents James and Vicki Hale of Lodi; Great Grandmother Maxine Hughes; Uncles and Aunts, Kevin and Jennie Kovacs, Tim and Michelle Kovacs, and Kris Kovacs all of Manteca, Zack Hoover from Lodi and Melanie Carrillo from Stockton; cousins Brett Kovacs, Kodi Kovacs, Austin Kovacs, Madisyn Kovacs, Arissa Hernandez and Marcos Hernandez; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and amazing friends. Jordan’s loves were taking care of her animals, her family and friends, and most specially riding her horses in her shows and numerous competitions. Jordan was loved by so many and will be greatly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. We love you Jordan. Ride Cowgirl Ride.

Jordan & Richard’s services will be held on Saturday, September 24: visitation will be from 9-11 am with their service beginning at 11 am at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 S. Palm Avenue in Ripon; burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Manteca. Donations may be made to the Kovacs Family Memorial Fund and can be made at any Bank of the West.
