Crime Scene Specialist/Property Room Manager Incumbent will respond to crime scenes and provide specialized support by performing a full range of forensic investigative duties including collection of all forms of evidence, fingerprinting, photography, videography, crime scene reconstruction, gunshot trajectories, and bloodstain pattern interpretation.  Will perform duties on and around deceased persons and dismembered or manipulated remains.
Dynamic Budget Analyst needed to fill this newly created position.  Will be responsible for eight (8) separate and complex budget units, in excess of 10 million dollars.  Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)  budget preparation and control, management of general and fuduciary accounting; grant management; billing and collection of revenue, fiscal control of contracts, accounts payable and receivable and will supervise a small staff.
Education and Experience:  Two years (60 units) college coursework in accounting, business administration, finance or related.  Bachelors degree preferred.  Five (5) years of progressively responsible budget experience with at least one (1) of those required years in a government agency.
Salary:  $23.18 - $28.20 per hour

Budget Analyst
Education and Experience:  Equivalent to graduation from High School and possession of an Associates degree with major course work in criminal justice, criminology, business or public administration, law enforcement or closely related field.  One (1) year of work experience in a law enforcement agency in a crime scene analysis capacity.  Direct involvement in crime scene investigations may be substituted for the college education on a year for year basis up to two years.
Salary:  $18.60 - $22.62 /hr.
