Community Garden Still Blooming, Letter from Garden Rep

Last Saturday we had a group of 8 volunteers weeding the existing plantings, and just prior to that, half of the lot was tractored in preparation for more planting in the Spring.
Soon the local Cub Scout Troop will be coming out to remove many of the rocks that were uncovered during the plowing.
Most of our starts (small starter plants) will be coming from the High Schools, but we will still need volunteers to grow starts (from seed), and if we have extra, they will go to the "Garden to Family" program

Anyone interested in being in our Bill Albee Memorial Copperopolis Community Garden email distribution list or would like to volunteer please call 785-PARK and leave a message.
